We checked the weather as soon as we woke this morning and the hourly forecast showed that there was 100% chance of rain every hour of the day. We decided the sensible option would be to stay in Sebree for another night, so that we would be indoors if another storm or tornado comes. We were disappointed as we wanted to get back on the road to make up for lost time. But the church is a great place to stay, and Bob and Violet are extremely hospitable.

By mid-morning it was fine out, so we walked downtown to have a look at the shops. It started to rain on us once we were up the street, but we did a bit of grocery shopping and came back as drowned rats. Violet let us borrow a couple of movies, so we watched "The Horse Whisperer." Emily and Michelle then battled at table tennis and 4-square while Rebekah planned our route for the next day. We had to change our route to get across the Ohio river since the water is too high for the ferry to go across at Cave-in-Rock.

The church put on a free dinner of sandwiches, hot dogs, and potato salad, plus a variety of desserts. We definitely ate our fair share; food always tastes better when it's free!
