After 5 full days off and only a 15-mile ride yesterday, today was back to our "normal" routine. We had wanted to leave Rodney's house in Cedar City by 7am, but that did not happen. When Rebekah went to get her bike from his garage, she had a flat rear tire; there was a leak near the valve of the tube. However, changing the tube didn't put us too far off schedule.

We biked about 56 miles to Milford, UT. The ride had one long gradual climb and two long gradual descents. Michelle said today was the best day she's had in a LOOOOONG time! The wind was either at our backs or at our sides and the temperature wasn't unbearably hot. Emily and Rebekah also enjoyed today's ride.
Once in Milford, we set up our tents at the city park in one of the few shady spots. We all took a quick nap and read our books. No showers here, so we'll just have to wait until tomorrow (hopefully!).

For dinner, we headed to the grocery store and picked up some 7-layer taco dip from the deli. Doesn't sound like a hefty dinner, but with tortilla chips, it was enough. We were all stuffed and couldn't even finish the last few bites.

We headed back to our tents for some more reading and relaxing. Tomorrow will be a big day of 84 miles with three long climbs, so we need to get to bed early and rest up!
